Myrtle Beach resorts have some of the best golf in the world. These are the picturesque links along the Atlantic Ocean - made famous by the Ryder Cup and the Worldcom Classic on the PGA Tour, and they attract golfers from all over the world.
The best part about Myrtle Beach is that most of the golf courses in the region are public all year, even resort courses. Thanks to this very open policy, Myrtle Beach and nearby areas like Charleston and Hilton Head Island see over a million golfing tourists hit their shores every year. These are courses designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Pete Dye, Tom Fazio and the infamous Robert Trent Jones.
To find more about a few of the best Myrtle Beach resorts that offer incredible golfing opportunities, read on.
Harbor Town Golf Club
This is one of the best known and most sought courses in all South Carolina. Built by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye as part of a collaborative effort, this course is challenging and thrilling. The green fee is close to $200, but the course offers some of the best golfing experience in the country. From the multiple water hazards to the wind coming over the rolling hills, you’ll be challenged on every hole.
Kiawah Island Ocean Resort and Golf Course
Pete Dye was given prime oceanfront land and told to build the toughest, most spectacular course he could to test the world’s finest players at the 1991 Ryder Cup. He did exactly that. Half of the Ocean Course’s holes butt up against the beach. The wind can be brutal and peril awaits every shot. But somehow, the course is great fun.
Golfers can stay at the beautiful Kiawah Island Resort that’s connected to the course. Accommodations are luxurious, but also pricey, so be prepared. The resort is a bit further from Myrtle Beach than the other courses listed here, but it’s definitely worth the travel time.
Pawleys Plantation
Built along wetlands in lightly populated Pawleys Island south of Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Plantation is far different than most resort courses. Originally a country club, Pawleys Plantation is somewhat secluded in a tranquil location dissected by a huge wetlands area that’s part of a wildlife preserve.
Out of all the most popular Myrtle Beach resorts, Pawleys offers the most authentic South Carolina experience alongside some of the best golf. If you’re looking for a slower pace away from the crowds of Myrtle Beach and more in tune with the state’s strong heritage, you’ll find it here.
Golf resorts in the Myrtle Beach vicinity are some of the most spectacular in the world. Golf enthusiasts from around the globe seek opportunities to make the trip to South Carolina for the sheer enjoyment of their challenging courses. Any of the three detailed above would make for not only memorable golfing experiences but also beautiful scenery.
If golf is your passion, at least one of these courses should be on your travel itinerary.

Disneyland is a magical place that most children dream of going to visit. Your little one may dream of seeing the castle or the Pirates of the Caribbean or Mickey and all his friends, but I bet the dream is in their heart from a very young age. If you are dreaming of taking your family to Disneyland but wondering how to stretch your budget, I’d like to offer some tips that are sure to make your pocketbook happy, and help you take a trip that will create memories that will last a lifetime.
The first tip I have is, never buy your ticket once you get to the park. Do some research in advance and find out about available discounts. Check through any travel memberships that you have or look on the internet for discounted tickets. You can find deals for buying one or two tickets and getting one or two for free. Even Disneyland offers a savings for buying you ticket in advance.
When it comes to eating, your most pocketbook friendly option is to eat outside the park. There are many family friendly restaurants within walking distance from the park gates. Another good trick is to stay at a hotel that offers breakfast with your room rate. If you eat a good breakfast, you may only need a snack at lunch time. You can take granola bars in your bag for everyone. If you hotel has a refrigerator, you can stock up and go back to the hotel for a midday break and have your lunch. Always check ahead of time to find the closest grocery store to you hotel so you can go get some necessities once you arrive.
For savings on your hotel make sure you compare prices. Call the hotel direct, check with your travel agent, and look at the rates online. In regard to the online rates, you want to check at the hotels website plus a few of you discounted travel websites. You can find these just by typing cheap hotels in the search field. Of course I’m wary of the sites that make you pay upfront. They usually have strict penalties for canceling. Because of the way hotel rates are structured, the rates you find could vary significantly. Go ahead and put each one on hold and then you can go back and cancel the higher quotes. This way the best rate will be locked in. Just make sure that you pick a hotel that is not too far away from the park. The savings in the end won’t be worth the cost it takes to get your family to the park.
A few other tips are to try to travel during off-peak seasons if your schedule will allow. Also, if this is a once in a lifetime trip for your family, make sure your children are old enough to enjoy the rides and remember the trip.
Happy planning!

So you want to visit Europe. Well you do not have to spend a fortune on your dream vacation. Flying to Europe can be as inexpensive as flying almost anywhere else if you keep a few tips in mind.
First of all if the time of year is not important to you, try and pick a time that is more off season. You will find flights to Europe much cheaper during the winter months than you will during the summer. If you are concerned about sight seeing during this time don’t. There is actually more to do there during the fall and winter than there is during the summer with all of the wine festivals, and the skiing and so on.
The first stop should always be your local travel agent when you are looking for good cheap flights to Europe. These travel agents work pretty much the same way as the internet travel sites. However your local travel agent can personalize your flight more to your liking. Make sure to compare prices at all of your big travel websites such as Travelocity and Orbitz. You will find that their discounts will usually be much cheaper than what you can get on your own. Remember to have all of your information such as dates and numbers ready so that you can fill in the forms. If you are a student, check with the airlines and see if they have any special student discounts. Almost every city that has a large college will have agencies that are set up just to handle special student discounts. If you are planning on traveling with a group, make sure you ask about group discounts. Most airlines will give group discounts, however, they aren’t going to offer these cheaper prices unless you ask for them.
Another way to get cheap flights to Europe is get with a chartered flight. Now most chartered flights will offer the full package. You will get a hotel, meals, sight seeing trips and more. But, if you are only interested in the flight, they will usually discount the package and you will end up with a cheap flight. You can find these charter agencies in most any city in the world.
When planning your trip look for cheaper flights into other cities or even countries. Traveling within Europe is very inexpensive by train. So if you find, for instance, that it is much cheaper to fly into Amsterdam that to Frankfurt and your final destination is going to be Frankfurt, you can save hundreds of dollars taking the train the rest of the way. Not only will this save you a lot of money, but it will also make the trip a lot more fun. Riding the trains in Europe is not like riding them in the U.S. You will meet some very interesting people and have a great time in the process.
So as you can see, getting cheap flights to Europe is not a difficult task at all. All it takes is a little bit of research and planning.

Anyone looking to go camping in South West France, but who hasn?’t decided which part to head to would do well to consider the area around Royan. Campsites in this area are of an extremely high standard, and near to some of the most outstanding scenery in the whole of France, from the expansive golden beaches and tranquil pine forests to the beauty and charm of La Rochelle.
If you?’re looking for Royan campsites, there are some excellent choices available. These four are some of the best campsites in South West France, let alone Royan!
Bonne Anse Plage
Bonne Anse Plage is a superb choice for families looking for a campsite in South West France with plenty to do. As well as the two swimming pools (one exclusively for children) and colourful twisting slides, the Royan campsite also boasts its own 18 hole mini golf course which is sure to keep you coming back time and time again to improve upon your score!
The site itself is picturesque, with plenty of pine trees around to offer shade from the warm French sunshine. On the other hand, if you prefer to bask in the glorious sunshine, the beach is just 600 metres away. Cyclists will also find the number of cycle paths in the nearby forest a delight to explore.
Camping Interlude
Located on the Ile de R?©, this is an island campsite near Royan that?’s perfectly suited to families with young children. There are plenty of beaches, and gentle waters which are ideal swimming and play, while the sands make the perfect spot for picnics and beach games. Then of course, there?’s plenty on site including a sauna, jacuzzi, gym and an indoor/outdoor pool. There?’s nothing better than spending a day exploring the island?’s interesting cycle paths, before enjoying a hearty meal at the campsite?’s restaurant.
Camping le Puits de l?’Auture
This spacious site is amongst my favourite campsites in South West France. The biggest draw is its location: very close to the long stretch of white sands and calm blue waters. The Royan campsite itself is pretty memorable too, with colourful flowerbeds, well spaced trees, swimming pools and kids?’ playground. There?’s a snack bar and take-away on site, and a good selection of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the site for the kind of lazy, warm evenings that Royan camping trips are all about.
S?©quoia Parc
If there were a prize for the most visually appealing campsite in Royan, S?©quoia Parc would definitely win it. Laid out in the spacious, sunny grounds of Chateau de la Josephtrie, the fields of sunflowers and vineyards make for an outstanding backdrop to your holiday. It has a number of swimming pools onsite, as well as a jacuzzi and bar, and the quiet country roads nearby are perfect for cyclists on your Royan camping trip.
The watchword for holidays spent camping in South West France is ?‘relaxation?’. All of these Royan camping hotspots make for a great base to recharge your batteries, and their spaciousness and cheerful family atmosphere makes them the perfect place to take the family ?– especially those with young children. If you?’re camping in South West France, you can?’t go wrong with any of these!

There are several reasons why Eastern Europe is the best place to visit for your stag weekend and lots of them involve guns, guns, and more guns!
There is a whole range of locations across Eastern Europe, offering different shooting experiences. At many of the ranges you will get the chance to feel the recoil of some pretty big guns, some of which are not allowed at ranges in the UK. With the help of professional instructors you will get the best out of learning how to hold, shoot and reload with some of the most fantastic weapons in the world.
Warsaw offers a unique stag weekend pistol shooting experience. With both indoor and outdoor ranges, you can practice hitting a variety of targets with some real mean guns. Pistols are very reliable and accurate and many of them come with high-tech design and can function in the most punishing conditions. Aircrews and security officers generally use the .38 calibre pistol that comes in two and four inch barrels. There is a whole range of .38 pistols and revolvers many of them special issue for police and army officers many of which are made by Colt, Ruger and Wesson. It?’s a unique opportunity to feel the experience of shooting these powerful pistols with expert guidance and knowledge from enthusiastic guides.
The AK47 is one of the most famous fully automatic weapons in the world. Not available to shoot with in the UK, you can have the chance to experience the intense power this gun throws at you. Originally designed by the Soviets, it is now widely used over the world and is a film favourite. In Budapest you get the chance to feel like Stallone or Arnie at a range with different types of targets and a chance to shoot 25 rounds with the 9mm Glock. The vz.61 Skorpion is a submachine gun, which was designed for close combat. It has an open butt stock and a magazine of 10 rounds. Used by police and counter terror units can be fired in single shots or can be changed to full automatic for real power.
Clay Pigeon Shooting is a more relaxing shooting experience. The sport is ever-growing in its popularity and is a favourite for people you want to experience the power of shooting a gun at a moving target while relaxing in great surroundings and taking your time. There are many disciplines and targets available. The standard target weighs 105 grams and is around 110mm diameter. Others sizes are called the Rabbit, which is thicker than the standard, Battue, which is very thin and flat, or the Mini, which is particularly hard to shoot as it is only 60mm across and 20mm thick.
Shooting is a great way for the group to bond and bring out their competitive side. Bear in mind, it?’s also good to start at the beginning of your weekend so that you can all concentrate and have a clear mind when handling such powerful weapons.

Vacationing in Greece is a pleasure in any season. Most folks opt to visit Greece during the summer months, when the sun is high and the surf is warm. But little do people know that a visit to Greece during the winter months can be equally as exciting and fulfilling, and even more steeped in pure Greek culture.
The benefits of visiting Greece in the winter months (considered December through March) are that while most of the other tourists are off vacationing elsewhere, those who call Greece their home embrace the off-season tourists with a first-hand look at what it means to be Greek.
For those of us who enjoy a little less of the tourism factor in our vacations, Greece in the winter is the ideal get-away. Hiking, biking, any exploration of nature is easier now, with the slightly cooler weather, and the number of other tourists at a minimum. Winter is the time to delight in the food the locals savor, to enjoy the nightlife known only to the locals and to participate in some activities and celebrations the locals relish only with their own.
Skiing in Greece is an after thought, or nonexistent one for most looking to vacation, while in fact, Greece provides some of the best skiing mountains in the world. Macedonia, Pelion, the Peloponnesus, Pelion and other cities to the north have ski centers and chalet type buildings in the mountains that provide ski lifts for downhill as well as cross-country runs.
Because Greece is blessed with such a temperate climate and beautiful natural environment, sailing in the winter is also a preferred sport by some. The cooler weather and less hustle and bustle from tourist crowds make it easier and even more enjoyable to sail and enjoy the natural surroundings. Whether it is bird watching, or ruins exploration.
Island culture abounds in the winter months, when tourists do not outnumber the locals. The usual tourist spots that are open in the summer months tend to close come wintertime. This means that the establishments that are open, are regular spots the locals visit. In turn, this generally means better Greek food to enjoy, and better yet, deeper, richer Greek culture including dog slide races, river wild rafting, and Alpine skiing.
Another great positive for enjoying Greece in the off-season, is of course, the lower rates. Traveling over seas is already costly enough, but if Greece is calling you, add lower rates on everything from airfare to hotel rates to the list of positives.
Apokreas, or carnival season, takes place in Greece around the end of February. The island of Skyros, Athens and Patras hold huge celebrations at this time of year. Apokreas refers to the time right before the 40 days of fasting before Easter begins. This involves feasting, celebrating, drinking and dancing - every night. What better way to see Greece than during this time, when many locals are celebrating more than they do the rest of the year?
More reasons to enjoy Greece in the wintertime is that ferries are always running to and from the mainland to the islands. If the weather becomes questionable or nasty, travel may become difficult, but for the most part, winter weather still tends to be quite exceptional.
The ruins are much more enjoyable to visit during the winter. The crowds are not in place, and neither is the heat. So it is easy to linger among the ruins, such as the Acropolis, the monasteries on top of the rock towers in Meteora or the Oracle of Delphi. One of the most amazing views of Athens can be seen from the Acropolis at sunset. Part of the reasoning behind visiting Greece is, no doubt, to explore the history of the native land, and the ancient ruins, so why would not someone want to take as much time as possible?
The picking of olives and production of olive oil is an important aspect of living in Greece. Homer referred to it as a “liquid gold” which is more a true statement today then he could have ever believed. A full 60% of Greece’s cultivated land is devoted to growing olives. The fruit is hand picked by families and even relatives and neighbors join in on the fun. Since this process generally starts toward the end of the year, those visiting Greece during the winter can help pick olives themselves, and really be a part of Greek family traditions.
With so many reasons to visit Greece during the winter months, how could anyone who is thinking of planning a trip not be seduced by the history and natural beauty that are in abundance in this amazing Mediterranean country.

More Vacations at Dutch W. Indies
The Dutch W. Indies, which is sometimes referred to as the Netherlands Antilles, is a wonderful place for more vacations. It is not surprising since the Dutch W. Indies is just made up of two groups of islands. The first group is made up of Curacao and Bonaire, which are just near the Venezuelan coast. The second group is made up of Sint Eustatius, Saba and Sint Maarten, which are in the southeast of the Virgin Island. Given this very island-y setup, it is no wonder that people flock into the Dutch W. Indies for more vacations. In fact, tourism is one of the top industries in the Dutch W. Indies, along with international finance, shipping and petroleum.
In a few months time, the five islands will be separate governing entities, under the dissolution of the federation of Dutch W. Indies by December 2008. Under the agreement, Curacao and Sint Maarten will become autonomous regions of Netherlands; while the rest will become cities of Netherlands.
Of the Dutch W. Indies islands, Sint Maarten probably enjoys the most attention, with the number of tourist flocking the place for more vacations. The Dutch W. Indies island is known to be the best place for more vacations, shopping and just about anything you can think of doing on a holiday.
At the Dutch W. Indies island of Sint Maarten, you can enjoy countless of water activities. You can go sailing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, body-boarding and just about everything else. You can even go Kite-surfing or Fly-surfing. There are available lessons for all these water activities.
The daredevils will also enjoy the opportunity to do a parachute jump. Or, if you want something closer to the ground, you can go mountain biking, hiking or horseback riding. Nothing compares to this kind of excitement during your days of more vacations
Else, you can opt to go to the museums for a little culture and history. There are art galleries you can visit. You can also go on land tours of nearby islands.
And of course, do not forget the Sint Maarten beaches, which are perhaps , the island?’s best attractions. In total, the island has thirty seven beaches for all its thirty-seven square mile land. The ambience at the beach is nothing but pure paradise. You get a variety of cuisine, from fun food like pizzas and burgers to local Caribbean cuisine. Shakes and cocktails abound, while you lie on your beach chairs for a little tan.
There are commercial beaches and semi secluded beaches, to suit your need for privacy. There are even nude or topless beaches in Sint Maarten if that?’s your thing.
If what makes your heaven is great food, then you?’ll find it in the island. Sint Maarten is known as the Gastronomic Capital of the Caribbean. It has more than three hundred restaurants, serving a variety of cuisine. You can have simple and delicious barbecued ribs and chicken, or you can go for exquisite French cuisine. It all depends on your whim and wishes. Else, you can opt for extraordinary Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Japanese, Indian and Tex-Mex cuisine. It really depends on what your hearts (and stomachs!) desire.
ever repeat themselves once. Bon Appetit!

?“The more the merrier?” might be a good slogan for the Orlando vacation homes that are available to visitors to Disney World and other Orlando area attractions. Why is it a good slogan? The more people that you bring in your group, the greater the savings you get in your accommodations budget. And when I talk about savings, I am not considering budget lodgings, but fully equipped luxury mansions with up to 5000 sq. feet of space. If you would like to bring a large family or sizeable group to Orlando, then read this article and you will find out how you can take advantage of this opportunity.
In case you are wondering what the vacation homes are all about, let me give you an overview. You can rent two to eight bedroom homes in the vicinity of Disney World on a nightly or weekly basis. The homes are located in resort communities, some of which are as close to a five minute drive from Disney World. Others are located no more than 15 minutes from Disney and close to other Orlando attractions.
The Orlando Vacation homes are fully furnished and equipped with many amenities including: private or community swimming pools, air conditioning and heating, fully equipped and ready to use kitchens, big screen TVs, home entertainment systems and in some cases spas and game rooms.
In addition to the luxurious amenities, the homes are conveniently located. Not only are they close to Disney World and other Orlando area attractions, but they are well served by nearby restaurants and shopping malls.
Suppose you are planning an Orlando vacation for a group of 12 people. If you had to accommodate everyone in a hotel then your daily and weekly hotel bill will be quite high. However, you can get a five bedroom, 4.5 bath vacation home for around $200 per night. The per-person, per-night cost is less than $20. Try matching that in any hotel!
If you are coming with a smaller group or normal sized family then you can also save. Let?’s look at another example. You can get a three bedroom vacation home for $115-135 per night. The variation in price depends on when you visit Orlando. The holiday periods of Christmas, New Year, and Thanksgiving are peak periods and the prices a slightly higher at these times.
Do the math and you will see that whether you are traveling in a small or large group it works out to be cheaper to stay in a rental home rather than a hotel. In addition, the comfort, convenience and flexibility that rental homes provide means that you can take advantage of the low prices without sacrificing your comfort and enjoyment. In fact, enthusiastic vacationers who have stayed in vacation home rentals say that the homes are much more enjoyable than the hotels.
So, if you are planning a vacation at Disney World and Orlando, then select the vacation home that is right for your family or group and make your reservation today.

Paris is probably the most popular city in the world and people go here for more vacations mostly to enjoy its culture, history and architecture. Paris is the capital of France. It is one of the most populous cities in the world. Likewise, it is one of the most popular tourist spots in the world. More than 30 million people from outside France, visit the city for more vacations.
Paris has a steady oceanic climate. Variations are seldom making it a perfect site for more vacations. Summers are at 60 to 77 degrees, while winter is at 37 to 36 degrees. Regardless of weather, people come to Paris for more vacations to enjoy the different sites it has to offer. Here are some of them:
1. Place de la Bastille: This is a historical square in Paris, which was where the Bastille prison used to be before the ?“Storming of the Bastille.?” Because of its history, protests are often held here.
2. Champs-?‰lys?©es: This garden-promenade/ avenue dates back to the seventeenth century. It connects the Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe. More vacations in Paris will not be complete without a trip or two through what is referred to as the most beautiful avenue in the world. Shops, cinemas and caf?©s line the street. Because of its prestige, rent here is quire high too. It earns $1.5 million in yearly rent just for 92.9 square meters of land.
3. Place de la Concorde: At the foot of Champs-?‰lys?©es, this site was originally referred to as Place Louis XV, where a guillotine was set. Now, it has the Egyptian obelisk, which is the oldest monument in Paris. The obelisk displays hieroglyphics in praise of Pharaoh Ramses II.
4. Les Halles: The place was named after a demolished wholesale marketplace. It currently displays fountains, sculptures and mosaic in some sort of open-air pit. It is also the home of the wax museum Mus?©e Gr?©vin - Forum des Halles. The underground rail station has its central hub underneath Les Halles
5. Le Marais: A trendy and open district, Le Marais has a Jewish community, Chinese community, a synagogue, museums and shops and a burgeoning gay presence.
6. Avenue Montaigne: This is the high fashion strip and is right next to the Champs-?‰lys?©es. Luxury brand labels, like as Chanel, Louis Vuitton (LVMH), Dior and Givenchy, have several shops here. Renowned jewelers are also located here, such as Bulgari. The Canadian embassy is also located in this street.
7. Montmartre: Standing 130 meters high, this hill has the white-domed Basilica of the Sacr?© C??ur at its peak. The peak is also the location of a nightclub area. Many renowned artists had their studios in the community, such as Vincent van Gogh , Salvador Dal?, Modigliani, Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso.
8. L’Op?©ra: This refers to the area around Op?©ra Garnier, which probably has the most number of offices and department stores in the city.
9. Quartier Latin: This is the academic district, where several colleges and universities are located. There are shops and lively bistros all over the area.
